Privacy Notice

Baca dalam Bahasa Malaysia

Justin, Poh & Partners (JPP LAW) respects your privacy. This notice explains what we collect when you use this website and how we handle it, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email, phone number, the nature of your matter, and your message.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your information.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can act for you, and to carry out the conflict and onboarding checks that come before any engagement.

If we go on to act for you, your information is handled under our engagement terms and our professional duty of confidentiality.

How we hold it

Enquiries are delivered to us by email through our website's mail provider and stored in our own systems.

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, or as required by law and our professional obligations, and we take reasonable steps to keep it secure.

Third-party services

We use third-party service providers to host this website, to deliver the enquiries you send us, to provide privacy-conscious website analytics, and to carry out search-engine optimisation. They process data only to the extent needed for the website to operate.

Vercel Web Analytics helps us understand aggregate website use. It records page views and interaction categories such as contact-button, phone and email clicks, enquiry-form opens and submission outcomes, Insights search outcomes, and scroll depth. We do not send it your contact details, enquiry contents, or search phrases. It does not use cookies or track you across websites.

Our search-optimisation provider receives the address of the page being viewed, together with the IP address and browser type that any internet request discloses. It does not set cookies on this website, does not store data in your browser, and does not receive anything you enter into the enquiry form.

Some of these providers process data on servers located outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your personal data continues to be protected to the standard required by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

We may share it only where necessary to provide our services, or where we are required to by law, regulation, or a court.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data you have given us, subject to any records we are required to keep.
